Truck 770 and Engine 772 would be dispatched to a motor vehicle crash that occured September 2, 2015. Truck 770 arrived on scene with a 2 vehcile crash that would turn out to be a non injury crash. Engine 772 was cancelled.

Residential Structure Fire

Bluff Pointe

The Dandridge Fire Department responded to a working residentail structure fire August 31, 2015 at 0632 hours. Before crews could arrive the structure would be overtaken by the fire with extension to a storage shed which contained four 30 pound propane cylinders. The shed was quickly extinguished and the attention was placed on the single wide trailer. Engine 3 (New Market VFD), Engine 774, Engine 772, Tanker 780 and Support/Rehab 781 would be on scene for an estimated three hours making sure the fire was out. Lakeway Central VFD would be called up to cover the DFD district.

Interstate 40

Run No 47     August 24, 2015     2202 hours     Interstate 40 415 MM

The DFD was dispatched for a semi tractor trailer on fire. Prior to Engine 772 arriving dispatched advised that both the tractor and trailer were involved. No hazardous materials were being carried. The load would include limes (produce). A quick knockdown by Engine 772 contained the fire to the tractor. The load did not suffer any damage.  A big thank you goes out to the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Jefferson County Sheriff Department for keeping traffic under control.

3 Alarm Fire

August 2015 Run No 30-2

August 17, 2015 2247 hours

Dandridge Fire Department dispatched for a confirmed residential structure fire.  Upon arrival of the first Engine the fire had already consumed a large portion of the residence. Engine 771 called for a third alarm  which would place Jefferson City Fire covering the DFD District. Responding agencies included:

White Pine VFD, New Market VFD, Kansas-Talbott VFD, Lakeway Central VFD , Jefferson City Fire Dept and supporting with rehab Jefferson County Rescue Squad


On the run since 1952!!!
