DFD dispatched for the report of a structure fire on November 30, 2019 at 2340 hours. Crews arrive with fire and smoke showing. Engine 772 arrived to pull two lines and make entry. The two story structure would suffer extensive damage. Automatic Aid: White Pine VFD, Baneberry VFD, Cocke County FD, and Chestnut Hill VFD.

Two Alarm

DFD dispatched for the report of a structure fire on November 28, 2019 at 0411 hours. Automatic Aid would bring Kansas Talbott VFD and Baneberry VFD to the scene but due to manpower issues a 2nd alarm would be called for bringing the following: Lakeway Central VFD, White Pine VFD and Jefferson City FD.

A statement from owner: “Thank you ALL for helping save my barn and other out buildings!! The tractor shed was too far gone for you to help, One of your firemen helped me get my young chickens out of their house. You saved two chickens houses and a old wood building… that my Aunt and Uncle used as a cook house in the 60’s while building what is my home now. I appreciate all of your help!!” Susan Porter

Save the date for the Dandridge Christmas Parade. Lineup begins at 11:45 a.m. at Maury Middle School with the Parade starting at 1:00 p.m. For those who would like to be in the parade please call DFD business line to register your organization, business, church, etc. Questions can be answered by calling the Dandridge Fire Department during business hours at 865-397-3192.
