Engine 772 and Tanker 780 respond to Oak Grove Road to the report of a vehicle crash. While crew were en route dispatched advised crews that they could not gain information about entrapment but the car would now catch fire. Crews arrived to the crash site which shut down Oak Grove Road. The driver of the vehicle walked away and Engine 772 extinguished the fire. No firefighter injuries were reported.
DFD dispatched for the report of a residential structure (Run No 44) fire at 1850 hours on Feb 25, 2017. Automatic aid from NMVFD Engine 3, Tanker 2 and LCVFD Engine 493. Quick action by the home owner would limit the damage to the residence outdoor kitchen and exterior wall. Whiles crew were busy on the overhaul DFD would receive Run No 45, the smoke investigation within a single family dwelling. DFD Engine 772, Tanker 780 and LCVFD Engine 493 would quickly clear the run.
